Multitechnology sensors

Where one single technology sensor becomes inaccurate, a combination of technologies has the advantage. When it's foggy, or at nightfall, video cameras have their limits. Microwave or acoustic technologies are still efficient.

Embedded signal processing

Remote processing means high bit rate transmission and high recurrent telecom costs. Embedded signal processing limits communication needs and speeds up local feedback to crossing lights or variable message panels.

Wireless communication

Copper cable or fiber optics provide a huge bandwidth, but require heavy installation works. When only the relevant information is to be transmitted, wireless communication is more flexible and cost effective.
