From November 17th to 20th 2008, during the ITS World Congress in New York, visitors demonstrated a clear interest in the Neavia product range. Organized every 2 years, Interoute & Ville 2008 Congress and Exhibition took place in Rennes from September 22nd to September 25th. Success with ARO in the Netherlands |

A successful collaboration is starting between Neavia and its partner in the Netherlands, ARO Electronics. A major road traffic operator has decided to install neavia’s technology. In the first phase of the project, a set of beacons has just been installed near Utrecht. It will be extended in a second phase near Amsterdam, and it will be linked to the Traffic Management System. Harrie van Hoot comments: ”Neavia beacons are well suited the needs of the Netherlands; they can be easily installed anywhere. We expect further deployment coming soon!”

The first beacons of the RD767 project have been installed and are now submitted to a comprehensive set of tests. This project will provide the road users with real time information regarding incidents, ghost drivers, and traffic. It covers a section of 28km of speedway linking Guingamp and Lannion. The system will include 17 Variable Message Signs and 54 beacons. All devices will be solar panel power feeded and will communicate by radio. |

On june 12th and 13th, as every 2 years, Saint-Brieuc was the meeting point of the French ITS industry. During the conference, Conseil Général des Côtes d’Armor explained the project of comprehensive surveillance of the RD767 speedway. At the exhibition, Neavia displayed the first pictures coming from the newly installed surveillance system. |
